The phenomenal shape & style of the C3 is the most successful and popular of the corvette models and the chrome bumper stingray is the ultimate. This car came from a large collector who imported the vehicle and reluctantly had to start to part with some of his collection. I was lucky to be first in and this was the standout one to choose for me.

CONDITION DETAILS
MECHANICALLY: EXCELLENT
SOUNDS & DRIVES INCREDIBLE Absolute dream to drive.
Totally awesome V8 mean rumble sound of the true carby cars
TONNES OF GRUNT- great take off acceleration. Cruises really smooth, just purrs along.
ENGINE BAY looks great with Chrome Air filter, new chrome rocker covers and spreader bars, new chrome filler cap and new chrome PCV valve.
Our mechanic who has a brilliant reputation has gone over this car for us and done the repairs he found it needed. The work done included overhaul and new parts for the front and rear brakes, new rear brake hoses, flush and bleed brakes, replace muffler, new alternator and powersteering belts, new spark plugs and general service. He suggested new suspension bushes down the track. (Receipts available for all work we have had done)
No leaks at all that I have seen.
Custom extractors
Quadrajet 4 barrel
Brakes work great — Front and Rear Disc Brakes. Work fine with no power booster but could easily add if wanted.
Automatic transmission-changes super smooth and easily in every gear
Powersteering— feels great to drive.
FULL TWIN EXHAUST SYSTEM with TWIN CHROME TIPS
TYRES– Excellent tread all 4 tyres 205 70 R 15 Maxxis older but in great condition.
Original Rally Chevrolet Rims with chrome insert trims. Rims in excellent cond.
NEW BATTERY
KILL SWITCH for a bit of extra security to stop car starting to help keep it safe.
C3 Corvette Stingrays are renowned for reliability and also easy to get parts for. These chevs are considered virtually indestructible and are so reliable. I have owned a few now and can only agree with this having never had issues with any of them.
BODY IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION
NO RUST
VERY STRAIGHT with no real dents or dings anywhere
Dual front pop up headlights. Both pop up great (one just slightly slower but works great).

Chrome is all lovely, all in very good to excellent condition.
Windscreen wiper cover (manual as vacuum disconnected)
Original spare wheel carrier/cover in great condition- these are often not present.
TTops and Removable rear window– last year that this semi convertible option available.
PAINT– ABSOLUTE HEADTURNER BLACK AND SILVER—they dont get much meaner or more striking than this.
Quality paint job with great finish and looks superb. In great condition with no fading and only if look closely see the odd usual tiny marks/very fine scratches/ odd chip etc. Resprayed front nose that blends really well. It is not a full on show car but would not look out of place at local shows and makes an amazing impression as a daily driver or club car.
